Comstock Acres and Tahoe Woods

Comstock Acres, Tahoe City 96145 is the first neighborhood off of highway 89 heading down towards west shore from Tahoe City. Tahoe Woods, Tahoe City 96145 ties into the Comstock Acres on the south side. Comstock Acres sees a fare share of full time residents, and is a relatively level area with wider streets for easy winter access. Tahoe Woods has a more “woodsy” feel with narrower streets and many trees. Neither neighborhood has an association, but few public beaches exist in the vicinity. Comstock Acres is within walking distance of the Truckee River and Tahoe City, and many hiking and biking trails exist leading up to a mountain meadow called Page Meadows.
